During her reign, she received the national People’s Choice Award and Heart of Service Award in Washington, D.C. She later achieved a rare consecutive double coronation and proudly continues to represent West Virginia as Miss Black West Virginia Talented Teen 2026, USA.
Her official platform, “Anti-Bullying Policy: Speak Life and Words Have Power,” is inspired by Proverbs 18:21: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Through this platform, Malia promotes kindness, compassion, accountability, and positive communication.
