Malia Courts is a multi-talented actress, model, singer, and entrepreneur who has established a distinguished name for herself through dedication, creativity, and steadfast commitment. Demonstrating a natural aptitude for the performing arts from an early age, Malia has captivated audiences in both film and print.
Malia's diverse professional background includes performances with the American Academy Charleston Ballet in The Nutcracker and lead roles in theatrical productions such as The Wizard of Oz and Disney's Moana Jr. Musical. She has also modeled for notable brands like Justice Clothing and collaborated with industry professionals across acting, vocal coaching, and talent management.
Key professional experiences include serving as a hair model for The Essence of Beauty, LLC, participating in IPOP (International Presentation of Performers)—which earned her a scholarship to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and agency representation—and working with industry figures such as Lenise Soren from Transformative Plays. She has collaborated with prominent professionals including James Lugo (Vocal Coach), Conner Weil (Actor), Robert Vito (Actor), Cody Sulek (Actor), Ryan Pinkston (Actor), Steve Roberts (Actor), Ericka Porter (Producer and Actress), Harold Dennis (Actor, Producer, and Director), and Nole' Marin (Manager, Fashion Icon, Celebrity Stylist, TV Personality).
Academically, Malia currently maintains a 5.00 GPA while actively participating in numerous extracurricular activities. These include the BETA Club, National Honor Society, Epsilon Xinos, Drone Team, All-State Chorus, Archery Team, Tennis Team, and the AKA Youth Development Program. Her academic honors include the Presidential Education Award for Outstanding Achievement, the Junior National Young Leaders Program, and the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
Malia was crowned the first Miss Black West Virginia Talented Teen USA for the 2025 season within the Miss Black USA organization, using her platform to promote anti-bullying awareness. She received the People's Choice and Heart of Service Awards at the national pageant in Washington, DC. She achieved a double crowning, also holding the title of Miss Black West Virginia Talented Teen 2026, USA
